I got a gaming laptop last year (need a laptop for work), and now I’m always stuck with the decisions of buying stuff on PC vs. console. I get PC > everything. It just feels weird not using a console.

You need a desktop. Then performance is no comparison. I won’t go back to consoles.

So I agree, but to play devils advocate, the next gen consoles have performance very comparable to my desktop but for way less than what I spent on my build.
I need to look up the specs on the consoles and compare to desktop. I built mine three years ago and I’m not sure when I’m upgrade. Granted mine is overkill. I wish they would have had some of the small form factor PCs when I was in college because between that, the cloud and a chromebook it would have been sufficient.

Having a good PC has been super helpful when dealing with assignments. Two monitors makes a world of difference. Plus I can take game breaks with it!

I got it essentially for solely League of Legends. It’s the best thing I’ve ever bought. I really needed an upgrade, though. Especially considering I work on it all day.

You’re a MOBA player?!?! Nice! I play whatever console MOBAs are available. Currently playing Genesis. It’s all there is. Waiting for a Paragon replacement to come out.
I’d definitely go desktop if that’s an option. Parts are pretty scarce right now though.
