Why don’t you try making the case for keeping a coach around nearly 20 years, who can only win one conference title, can’t compete with your rival and averages 4th in the conference. Try listing every school that has kept a coach with one conference title more than 10 years.

It’s funny everyone is fine when Snyder or Paterson has Losing season. So good enough for them.

Right. Snyder and Patterson have had more losing seasons than Gundy, and I think both of those guys are excellent coaches and so does everyone.
And both have won the conference since Gundy.
Both have had losing soon after win. We did u learn to debate. It’s like being a lawyer. A lawyer never ask a question he doesn’t know the answer, it leaves them open. U just spout out anything comes to ur head thinking u made a point. A point is won when first u have not said anything. No need for a second I guess.
Compared to the terrible days of Oklahoma State football, I’m quite honestly okay with 7-10 win seasons. To me, that’s good consistent football and much better than most fan bases get. Oklahoma State University puts out a quality product year in and year out. Sure it might hurt that we never beat OU, but they’re ****** OU! we will NEVER be above them and that’s okay. Do I enjoy the fact that we haven’t beat them since 2014? Absolutely not and even that was a fluke win. It could be much worse. I would much rather finish 3rd to 4th in the conference year in and year out than to be where KSU, WVU, TTU and Baylor are.

I do wish we recruited a bit better. It’s mostly frustrating because of how consistent we’ve been, but people are fooling themselves if they think Stillwater, Oklahoma is what College kids are attracted to. Most of us have a bit of biased opinion on Stillwater, but to the other 49 states and countless cities, Stillwater is far from special. I truly love Stillwater, but don’t expect people to love it from an outside looking in perspective.

There was less time between Bill Snyder’s conference titles and he quit and left awhile.
BTW Gundy has never taken this program to the level Bill took Kansas State.
That is well put and a honest look at reality.
Still if u were in charge u would have fired bill and not rehired him. So u reality bill would never have won his second. So not even try and explain stuff to use. We know u better then u know urself.
